Christine Bain Parker, a self-described creative and flower enthusiast, founded Flower Treasures in 2018 to help couples create lasting memories by bringing their floral dreams to life on their wedding day. Although she had long imagined turning her love of flower arranging into a business, the true spark came while working abroad in Australia. Surrounded by stunning blooms, Christine was struck by their natural beauty.
Amid long workdays and a desire for a creative outlet, she began arranging flowers as a way to unwind, and soon after, for a few friends’ weddings. When she returned to Canada and started a family, Christine realized that running her own floral business offered the perfect blend of passion, routine, and flexibility she needed while raising three young children. With that, growing Flower Treasures became a natural next step.
At Flower Treasures, being part of your wedding day means the world to Christine and her dedicated team of florists, designers, and creatives. Their mission goes beyond simply creating beautiful arrangements—they aim to be your trusted partners and friends. The kind who’ll sit down with you months before the big day, share a glass of wine, scroll through Pinterest boards, and help bring your dream wedding aesthetic to life.
From planning to execution, the Flower Treasures team handles every detail with care, drawing on years of experience in floral design and event coordination. Their process begins with an in-person consultation, where the team listens closely and collaborates with clients to understand their vision. From there, the team works thoughtfully behind the scenes to bring that vision to life so clients can sit back, relax, and soak in the beauty of their big day, surrounded by flowers that reflect their unique love story.
While weddings remain their specialty, Christine has expanded Flower Treasures to support various celebrations and events, including birthday parties, showers, corporate gigs, brand launches, and their favourite: hosting workshops and private flower parties at our Junction shop location.
Regardless of the occasion, the team brings the same creativity, care, and attention to detail. Christine’s arrangements focus on personal, clean, and modern designs that highlight the natural beauty of the flowers, many of which are showcased on the Flower Treasures website.
Recently, Flower Treasures also introduced a beautifully curated gift shop featuring floral-inspired items such as jewelry, candles, clothing, and beauty products, making it a true one-stop destination for flower lovers.
Though Christine has lived and worked in many places, the Junction has always been home. She grew up just around the corner from where her shop now stands, making this venture a meaningful homecoming. Outside of work, Christine enjoys family time, pressing her flowers, hitting the gym, and grabbing her favourite espresso and pasta at nearby Petti Fine Foods.
With so many exciting additions to the shop, Flower Treasures’ story continues to grow. However, their core mission remains the same: to craft beautiful, personal floral arrangements that celebrate love and life’s most special moments. Every client’s unique story fuels Christine’s creativity and drives her dedication. Sharing the joy of flowers brought her here and will keep Flower Treasures blooming for years to come.
