Rules of Procedure
These Rules of Procedure supplement the mandatory procedures applicable to the Board of Management of The Junction BIA. They support effective Board decision-making, public accountability, respectful participation and a Strategic Governance Model in which the Board provides strategic direction and oversight while the Executive Director manages day-to-day operations, subject always to applicable law and City requirements.
Financial Procurement Policy
This policy establishes the financial oversight, procurement, purchasing and contract approval framework for The Junction BIA.
Code of Conduct
The Junction BIA is committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, professional and accountable organization in which Board members, staff, volunteers, contractors, BIA members and participants are treated with courtesy and dignity. This Code establishes behavioural expectations for members of the Board of Management while carrying out public and governance responsibilities on behalf of The Junction BIA.
Anti Harassment Bullying and Violence Policy
The Junction BIA is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive and professional environment free from workplace harassment, workplace sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, threats, retaliation and workplace violence. This policy is intended to operate as the BIA’s workplace harassment and workplace violence policy and program to the extent required by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), while also establishing broader standards for BIA-related activities.
