October 2020: Pure Staffing Solutions

Pure Staffing Solutions 391 Keele St, (416) 760-8001

Pure Staffing Solutions Inc. was founded by Brad and Ryan in 2003. As an employment agency, they are committed to connecting their clients to qualified candidates in the manufacturing, production, oil and gas/resource industries. In their many years, they’ve received numerous awards such as the Profit 500, Globe & Mail / Report on Business Canada’s Top Growing Companies, the ACSESS Community Service Award, and the ACSESS Corporate Social Responsibility Award.

Brad has lived in the Junction for 18 years, long enough to have had drinks with the three successive owners of Hole in the Wall. They were ideally looking for an area that was accessible by TTC for their employees but also had a variety of wonderful options for food, drinks, and entertainment. Brad loves the diversity of the neighbourhood and being a longtime member of the community, has enjoyed watching the continual evolution of the neighbourhood.  Their love for the Junction and Toronto can also be seen by the commissioned art from local graffiti artists that hangs from their office walls.

When COVID-19 hit, Pure Staffing Solutions Inc. was declared an essential business by the government due to the nature of their clients. Employees transitioned to work from home, but now staff are slowly returning to the office as they become more comfortable with the safeguards and precautions that are put in place at all levels.  Hopefully, it’s not too long before the office ping pong table returns to pre-COVID action.

The demand for food items, consumer goods, etc. has kept business flowing comfortably with clients in related areas, and as all businesses begin to reopen, things continue to look up for Pure Staffing Solutions Inc.

Brad and Ryan are also involved in numerous other business endeavours, such as Bumsa (named after Brad’s childhood friend’s sheepdog), a web design and digital marketing company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs take their online presence to the next level. Brad also has a podcast “Steal From the Best” which showcases entrepreneurs and discusses what it takes to succeed in business and life.

Brad had dedicated himself to supporting the community that he lives, works and plays in and can be often be found at the local diamonds, rinks and sports fields where he volunteers his time coaching teams that his 2 sons play on.  The business has been solid over the years which stems from the quality of employees that they’ve been able to attract.  The Junction is full of awesome talent and the bar continues to rise.  If you’re looking to supplement your workforce or are interested in web design, development or SEO/SMO, Pure Staffing Solutions and Bumsa are great options with a proven track-record!
