Meet the Artists
Natalie Very B.
Natalie Very B. is an award-winning Polish-Canadian artist and certified art therapist. As an immigrant who did not feel like she belonged anywhere for many years, she found solace in painting colourful landscapes inspired by the soothing quality of nature in Canada: her true home. Natalie’s public murals depict peaceful scenes of Mother Nature’s harmonious coexistence and are intended as “safe places” for the community. Natalie believes in the healing power of creating and receiving art. She recognizes that authentic artistic self-expression has helped her on a profound personal level and continues to inform her extensive work with diverse communities. Natalie is devoted to her private art psychotherapy practice and organizing community-based healing art-making workshops for adults.

Baboo Matsusaki
“I’m a curious person, and I’m always willing to learn new things, so when I started my trajectory (almost 20 years ago), my main focus was 3D modelling. However, my desire for new knowledge made me pass through several areas, working with 2D, 3D, Stop Motion and Live Action.” Baboo Matsusaki has a small animation studio called Hilda, and today, she finds herself in the management area. The technical knowledge she gathered through those years helped her immensely as she managed and supervised large multidisciplinary teams with professionals at all levels. Additionally, she can coordinate complex projects that require a lot of experience in the area. Baboo particularly likes working with art direction and direction in general. So, in her spare time, she makes collages on paper to take her mind off the computer and the digital world.
