Tashiana de la Franier’s love for decorating began in her childhood, inspired by her aunt’s beautiful flower arrangements and garlands for special events. Her aunt’s dedication to the craft sparked a passion in Tashiana to pursue decorating so she could make every celebration unforgettable.
Tashiana’s entrepreneurial journey began at just 11 years old when she ran her own street stall. From a young age, she was drawn to the freedom, independence, and creativity that came with owning a business. Over the years, she channelled her talents into organizing events for friends, family, and especially her children, always ensuring their special days were enhanced with unforgettable decorations.
As Tashiana grew in her craft, she noticed a gap in the market—flexible, accessible event venues that could truly cater to clients’ unique needs. Determined to address this need, she combined her love for decorating with a desire to create a space where personalized celebrations could flourish. In 2021, she launched T’s Topnotch Event Planning & Decors. Establishing a venue was the natural next step in bringing her vision to life, and in July 2024, she realized her dream by opening a storefront location in the Junction.
Tashiana is committed to supporting local vendors and artists at T’s Topnotch Event Planning and Decors. Collaborating with fellow community members is a core part of her business, and she believes it enhances the client experience and strengthens the local economy. The Junction location has become a hub for creativity, where clients can truly personalize their events while helping to foster a sense of community.
T’s Topnotch Event Planning & Decors offers a wide range of services, from weddings and corporate events to milestone celebrations and themed parties at their Junction event hall. The hall’s open-concept design accommodates up to 100 guests and provides a versatile space for any occasion. The space also features a kitchenette, surround sound system, and mini bar, ensuring that every event is equipped to exceed expectations.
Creativity, authenticity, and personalization are at the heart of every Topnotch event. With their eye for detail and immense creativity, Tashiana’s team of skilled decorators, managers, and assistants bring each client’s vision to life with elegant floral arrangements, custom lighting designs, and unique décor elements. The experience begins the moment a client steps through the door—whether helping to conceptualize the event, optimizing the venue, coordinating with vendors, or providing on-site event assistance, Tashiana and her team ensure every detail is taken care of.
