The City of Toronto is preparing to move forward with Stage 2 of the Single-Use and Takeaway Items Reduction Strategy by proposing mandatory measures that will restrict single-use and takeaway items through fees, and “ask first/by request” measures.
An online survey is now available to provide feedback. The comment deadline is March 6, 2022. General inquiries and comment submissions can be sent to wastestrategy@toronto.ca.
Stakeholder organizations are also invited to learn more and provide feedback at two upcoming meetings. The same information will be presented on each date. Please register in advance using the links below,
