New Energy efficiency rebate for business owners
The Federal Government recently announced a new funding opportunity for small and medium businesses in Ontario to implement energy efficiency projects in their buildings. The City of Toronto’s Better Buildings Navigation & Support Services can help interested businesses apply for this funding and access further financing opportunities including the Energy Retrofit Loan program.
Retrofit Funding Details
Small and medium businesses in Ontario can now receive a rebate for up to 25 per cent of the cost of building retrofit projects to reduce energy use, save money and cut greenhouse gas emissions. Applications are due by October 16, 2019 at the latest, or until funding is exhausted.
