Pinot's Palette
Installation Concept
This installation explores themes of migration and movement through the imagery of migratory butterflies. Symbolizing transformation and journey, the butterflies also connect to Pinot’s Palette through paintbrushes that form their bodies, blending natural migration with creative expression. The piece celebrates the beauty of change and the power of art to carry stories across distance and time.
Meet the Artists

Emily Elise, Muralist
Emily Elise is an illustrator who works out of her home studio in downtown Toronto. Her illustrations are a reflection of the organic interplay between feminism, mysticism, nature, and the occult. Emily draws inspiration from the animism of nature, women’s inherent connection with the earth, and the prophetic and surreal essence of the dream-state and subconscious mind. She infuses these themes into her work by synthesizing familiar symbols with playful patterns and otherworldly imagery, creating decorative and highly stylized compositions.
