Things Change – Psychotherapy & Mental Health Services
My name is Sandy Watters (she/her) and I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and psychotherapist based in Toronto/Tkaranto. Through Things Change – Psychotherapy and Mental Health Services, I offer a blend of somatic and talk therapy. My work is relational, attachment-based, and anti-oppressive and I am committed to supporting my clients on their unique journey to reflect, shift and grow. My practice modalities include somatic (body-based) and cognitive (thought-based) approaches, drawing from a wide variety of evidence-based practices including mindfulness, CBT, DBT, attachment-based therapy, narrative therapy, trauma-sensitive yoga and trauma-informed care. I have a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Wilfred Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto in areas of Women’s Studies and Sexual Diversity Studies. I am a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
I offer both online and in-person sessions, as well as a free 15 minute consultation call to see if it could be a good match!
