Meet the Artists
Catherine Cachia, Muralist
Catherine Cachia is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, primarily focused on public art murals and family photography. She holds an Honors Visual Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario. Following a 10-year career as a fundraiser in the non-profit sector, and the birth of her daughter in 2015, she transitioned from arts administrator to artist. The thread that runs through her work is embracing what’s imperfect, messy, and human.

Szitai Eszter, Animator
Szitai Eszter is an award-winning animator and filmmaker with a Master’s degree in Cinematography. She creates bold, socially conscious animations and films that blend satire, storytelling, and striking visuals. With a background in editing, marketing, and creative direction, her work ranges from content creation to impactful cinematic projects. She is the founder of Szitai Studio, known for original animations such as After Us the Flood, and is the co-director of the Romanian feature film @sprepunctulg.
