Channel Zero
Installation Concept
This piece shows how culture moves beyond borders through memory and narrative. Inspired by Japanese traditions learned from stories told by the artist’s mother, the goldfish and two foxes symbolize generational exchange, while the flowing film strips highlight media’s role in preserving heritage. It reflects migration as not only physical movement, but the transfer of identity and knowledge across time and space.
