Melika Saeeda
Melika, an Iranian-Canadian illustrator based in Toronto since 2017, has gained recognition for her wide-ranging work, from murals to book illustrations. She’s collaborated with places like the Toronto Reference Library and TIFF Festival, StreetARToronto, Community organizations, and BIAs, earning awards like the 2022 SCBWI Impact and Legacy Award and the 2019 SCBWI Glass Slipper Award in Montreal, Canada.

Simon Kotze
Simon is a 2D animator and generalist passionate about frame-by-frame animation, where every frame is treated as its unique work of art. Since 2020, he’s collaborated with various animation studios and clients, carving out a niche in creating visually stunning and creatively crafted stories. With a fine arts and multimedia design background, Simon draws inspiration from contemporary French and classic Disney 2D animation to evolve the craft into a more modern visual language. The versatility of the medium is what inspires him to create new and exciting pieces.
