Toronto, ON (Nov. 10, 2025) – Toronto’s award-winning winter art exhibit, Window Wonderland, returns to the Junction for its sixth consecutive year! From Friday, November 28 to Sunday, February 1, 2026, the streets of the Junction will once again be transformed into a FREE, open-air gallery, showcasing 20 artist-designed storefront windows and 11 vibrant wall murals. Each installation will be brought to life through the magic of augmented reality (AR), blending creativity, technology and community spirit.
Proudly presented by MEDS Junction Pharmacy, this annual event has become one of Toronto’s most anticipated winter traditions, inviting visitors to experience a unique celebration of art and innovation in one of the city’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.

The first event of its kind in Toronto, Window Wonderland is presented in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed Artivive app, which transforms static artwork into immersive digital experiences. Visitors can simply download the free Artivive app, point their smartphones at participating windows and murals, and watch as each artist’s creation comes to life.
“We’re thrilled to welcome visitors back for another year of Window Wonderland,” said Carol Jolly, Executive Director of The Junction BIA. “This year’s theme, Migration & Cultural Storytelling, invited artists to explore how heritage, memory, and a sense of belonging shape our identities and communities. Our lineup features extraordinary talent from across the globe, including artists from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, England, France, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Mauritius, the USA, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam—each offering their own creative lens on the theme.”
This year also marks the debut of a new permanent AR mural, “Greetings from The Junction,” located at 380 Keele Street. Designed by Elizabeth Jackson Hall and animated by Benjamin Mitchley, the piece celebrates the neighbourhood’s rich history, from its roots as an Indigenous trading route to its evolution as a railway hub and creative community.

On Saturday, December 20, from 3 pm to 5 pm, visitors can witness a shepherd and his three talented sheep roam the streets of the Junction, serenading audiences with their favourite holiday carols, bringing laughter, music and cheer to all ages!
