The Sweet Potato

Installation Concept

The intersection of migration, cultural storytelling, and the farm-to-table movement underscores the profound connection between food, history, identity, and sustainability. Migrants carry with them seeds, recipes, and traditions, blending cultures and shaping new cuisines while their labour deeply supports agriculture. Through seasonal menus, community events, and the honouring of ancestral techniques, the farm-to-table movement becomes a platform for storytelling and cross-cultural connection.
