Evangeline Residence
Installation Concept
This installation features imagery of a heron and a bridge. The heron symbolizes serenity and patience, while the bridge represents the shelter’s role as a pathway to a better life. The phrase “You are welcome here” is included to reflect the inclusive and supportive nature of Evangeline Residence—a home for women of all backgrounds, religions, and identities. Together, the elements express belonging, healing, and the quiet strength found in transition.
